Sometimes I don’t understand God at all.

And now I stand before all of you. All these years, all these millennia later and not much has changed. Sometimes God doesn’t make any sense.

My name is Abraham. And many years ago, Yahweh Elohim, the One True God called me out of Ur, in the land of Babylon. He promised me blessings of greatness, and land, and offspring. It was a difficult journey to those blessings.

Infertility. Pagan kings. My own cowardice. My own adultery. My own sin, often threatened the promises of Yahweh.
